Meeting at the crossroads of jazz and chamber music, David Dvorin (guitar/composer) and Matej Seda (violin) of Pull-String create intimate ensemble performances of original compositions. Gaucho in Concert

Gaucho began in 2002 as a Gypsy Jazz band and quickly fell in love with the same music that inspired Django Reinhardt, Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller and the performers of the Great Jazz Age. From there, band leader Dave Ricketts has been writing songs in that style that have been used by Pixar, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Pandora Private White Board Sessions and more. Come see this charming band and they'll show you what they know!

Greg Johnson-Composer/Pianist of Glass Brick Boulevard

This program includes compositions performed by the critically acclaimed group Glass Brick Boulevard on the recent recording "Crystalline Thrilled" as well as several brand new previously unheard creations.

Composer and pianist Greg Johnson grew up in the Midwest listening to Gospel, Motown and Beethoven. In the early seventies, bands like Yes, The Who, and Pink Floyd began shaping the road that with the inclusion of Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, Weather Report, the Yellowjackets and others led to a compositional exploration that eventually began combining all of the influences and produced Glass Brick Boulevard.
