Jonathan and Gabrielle are singers and collaborative pianists. For the past year, they have regularly collaborated on song recitals, presenting thoughtful, lyrical, and ambitious programs in SF and the East Bay.

Gabrielle Veronique is a singer, collaborative pianist, writer, and bodyworker. An avid interpreter of classical song, she is active as a recitalist in the Bay Area. Recent programs have included “Liebeslieder” a program of love songs by Robert Schumann, Clara Schumann, and Johannes Brahms, performed with pianist Nate Ben-Horin; and “Elements: Romantic and Neo-Romantic Song,” a collection of songs dealing with our relationship to nature, time, style, and love, performed with pianist Jonathan Liu. Her written work has appeared in the Journal for the Society of American Music and the Journal for Popular Music Studies. She lives in Oakland, CA.

Jonathan Liu is a collaborative pianist based in Berkeley, California specializing in vocal accompaniment. Since moving to Berkeley, he has regularly accompanied solo and ensemble performances, most recently with the UC Berkeley University Chorus, the UC Berkeley Summer Chorus, the 2018 Mozart Mashup opera show, and the UC Berkeley Noon Concert series. He is currently the accompanist for the UC Berkeley Chamber Chorus.
