Violist Daphne Gooch and Friends

Join us for a lovely evening of chamber music with Daphne Gooch, Melinda Moreaux, and Miles Graber. They will perform works of Prokofiev, Brahms, Frank Bridge, and Hindemith.

A native of Santa Rosa, California, violist Daphne Gooch has been playing music since the age of four and participated in the regions orchestras and chamber programs through her youth. In 2010 she started her undergraduate degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with Madeline Prager.While a student, she participated in many masterclasses with artists such as David Kim, Kim Kashkashian, and Helen Callus and also played in the Honors Chamber Music Recital and chosen to represent the Conservatory at Yerba Buena Center on Chamber Music Day with her quartet. Since graduating from the Conservatory, Daphne has been freelancing with orchestras such as the Fresno Philharmonic and the Monterey Symphony, and is a member of the San Francisco Academy Orchestra Program where she studies with Jonathan Vinocour. She is excited to announce her acceptance into the Manhattan School of Music where she will be pursuing an Orchestral Performance degree with Karen Dreyfus.

Vocalist Melinda Moreaux has an MM in Kodàly Music Education,  has studied in Kecskemét , Hungary, and is currently a student of Susie Rode Morris. Melinda teaches voice and piano in her studio in Penngrove and sings  whenever anyone will let her. For more information: melindamoreaux.com
